Level 2
An RICS Level 2 Home Survey is a more extensive visual inspection of the property than a mortgage valuation. It highlights significant problems with straightforward ‘traffic light’ ratings.
This report is suitable for conventional houses, flats, or bungalows that are in reasonable condition and built from common building materials.
                                Level 3
A RICS Level 3 Home Survey is the most comprehensive report available. It provides a detailed picture of the property’s construction and condition, including roof, wall, floor, ceiling, door, and window.
This report is suitable for run-down, larger or older properties, buildings that are unusual or altered, or properties with major works planned.
